The Life-Cycle of an Artist

When an artist is in his productive prime, creating his works of greatest genius, he can become so consumed by the act of expressing his point of view that he no longer has time to take it all in. Having thus expended himself, he no longer has anything new to say, and his work can devolve into narcissistic self-reference.

For example, all this blogging is taking away from my porn-time.
